The most important thing is to love your job. Enjoy what you are learning, seek out new challenges, help others succeed, and be generous to yourself and others. My colleagues and I are in the professional services business. We are lawyers and consultants and we must be after excellence in work product and service. Burn out happens when you are not enjoying your work, do not feel autonomous or motivated.

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Edward Klaris, the CEO of KlarisIP, a management consulting firm for the media & entertainment sectors. He is also Managing Partner of Klaris Law, a media and intellectual property boutique law firm, as well as an adjunct professor of law at Columbia Law School in New York.
